One day, Jesus decided to go up a high mountain  🏔️ to pray. 🙏 He chose three 3️⃣ of his closest friends to go with him - Peter, James, and John. 🥾 While Jesus was praying 🤲 on the mountaintop, ⛰️ He began to change right before their eyes. 👀 His face started shining as bright as the sun! 🌞 And His clothes? They turned into a bright white color. ⚪️

Suddenly, two heroes 🦸‍♂️ 🦸🏻 from the Bible who had already gone to heaven appeared with Jesus. These men were Moses 🦸‍♂️ (who had led God's people from Egypt through the Red Sea) and Elijah 🦸🏻 (who was a prophet, God's special messenger). They stood there talking 🫸🫷with Jesus.

Peter, James, and John could hardly believe their eyes! 🤯 They were so excited 😆 and amazed that Peter wanted to build three special tents ⛺️ ⛺️ ⛺️ right there on the mountain 🏔️ - one for Jesus, one for Moses, and one for Elijah. He wanted everyone to stay. 

Then, a bright, shining cloud ⛅️ came down and covered them all like a warm blanket. From inside the cloud, they heard God's own voice! 🗣️ God said, "This is my Son, Jesus, whom I love ❤️ very much. He makes me happy. 😊 Listen 👂🏻 to what He tells you!"

The disciples were so scared 😱 that they fell right down on their faces! 🙇 But Jesus, came over and touched them softly on the shoulder. "Don't be afraid," He said with a smile. 😀 When they looked up again, Moses and Elijah were gone, the bright cloud ⛅️ had disappeared, and Jesus looked normal again.

As they walked back down the mountain ⛰️ together, Jesus told them this was their special secret 🤫 for now. He explained that this amazing moment helped show them that He really was God's Son, and that God had sent Him to earth for a very important reason - to show everyone how much God loves 🫶 them! It was a day Peter, James, and John would never, ever forget. 🤩
